Charlottetown Backpackers Inn began in 2007 when a wanderer named Levi Urman decided to open a hostel.
He cultivated an atmosphere of fun, enjoyment, and provided a quiet stay with some very popular banana bread.
In 2021, he sold the hostel and business to his friend Shannon Shura who is the current owner/operator.
Having travelled to and lived in several different countries, Shannon knows the value of budget accommodation. She thoroughly enjoys hosting people from all over the world and has made fast friends in her travels.
Whether it is fixing, cleaning, or simply sharing a meal... you can always find Shannon taking care of the hostel and her guests.
