Questions about - Getting Here

Where are you located?

Our address is 60 Hillsborough Street, Charlottetown at the corner of Hillsborough St and Sydney St.

It is a grey house with red shutters.

I am arriving at the Maritime Bus station. What is the best way to get to the hostel?

There are 4 ways to get here:

- Walk (20 minute walk)

- City Bus Route 2  ($2 cash fare, Monday to Friday, See www.t3transit.ca for accurate schedules)

- Taxi

I am arriving at the Charlottetown Airport. What is the best way to get to the hostel?

A Taxi is probably your best bet as there are usually several taxis waiting outside.

Rideshare app available in PEI is Kari (available on Apple & Android)

Another option is the city bus. Check https://www.t3transit.ca/ for routes and schedules.

I am arriving by ferry at Woods Islands without a vehicle. What is the best way to get to the hostel?
Your most cost-effective route would be to take a taxi to Victoria Cross, then take the bus to Charlottetown and then walk to the hostel.
The most convenient route would be to take a Taxi ($$)
Is there parking available?

Absolutely. There is free and ample street parking (especially on weekends) on Hillsborough St next to the park (between Sydney and Richmond)

There is also limited off-street parking available

If you are arriving by campervan, truck, or have a trailer/other large vehicle, we suggest you use off-street parking so as to not block the sidewalks.

Motorcyclists are encouraged to use street parking directly in front of the hostel.
